Goodnight Moon

What is one of the things I miss most about being a kid? Bedtime stories. When I was a kid, I had a whole closet full of books that I would read, read, and read again and ask others to read to me too. It didn’t matter if it was my Mom, my Dad, my grandparents, cousins, or anyone else- if someone could read and it was night time, you can be sure that I had a book picked out and ready to be read to me. The
blog A Mighty Girl offers some great suggested readings geared toward girls with strong female characters. This is a great site to check out if you have a little girl. My post today is going to be on some of the classic children’s books. The books we tend to pick up again and again with a sense of nostalgia and some of my personal old favorites.
